James Nightingale

James Nightingale is one of Sydney’s most active saxophonists in the field of classical music. James has performed as a casual player with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. He is the alto saxophonist of the saxophone quartet, Continuum Sax, whose debut CD, Continuum was released in 2001. James has also recorded a solo CD, Drive and his playing is featured on a recording of Andrew Ford’s music, Harbour and on the recording of Andrée Greenwell’s Dreaming Transportation for ABC Records . James studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he has completed both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in saxophone performance.
