Since his return from the US in 1985, pianist/composer Mike Nock has remained at the forefront of Australasian Jazz. With his most recent trio CD An Accumulation of Subtleties winning Best Australian Contemporary Jazz Album at the 2011 Bell Awards, playing an extensive Japanese tour in September and several concerts in New Zealand and Australia, 2011 was a good year for the group.
